Technology Reservation Request

To submit a technology reservation request, select from the ITS services listed below and follow the link to the service-specific request form.

General Request Policy

  • Reservations are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis and require staff and equipment allocations that require advance coordination. Please submit your requests accordingly.
  • Same-day delivery requests can be accommodated for conference phones and USF bridge lines ONLY.
  • Service day and hours vary according to the service requested. Please review each service's hours of operation for details.

Media Production Services

Request that your class, lecture, or event be recorded...

Media Production Services provides video and audio recording services for classes, lectures, or on-campus events. Student workers, trained as camera technicians, are scheduled to service requests on a first-come, first-served basis. Your media files can be delivered online for use in Blackboard or for web pages, or on DVD.

Hours of Operation

  • 8:00 AM - 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday
  • 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday

Request Policy

  • Please be advised that confirmation is dependent on the volume of current requests.
  • Requests must be submitted a minimum of 5 business days in advance.
  • Requests made thereafter will be scheduled if time permits.
  • You will receive an automatic email notification that your request has been submitted and you will receive confirmation that you have been scheduled one week prior to the event.

Echo360 Lecture Capture

Automated Classroom Lecture Capture with Echo360

Echo360 is an automated lecture capture system that can be scheduled to record a lecturer's presentation, including audio and video, along with the lecture content that is presented on the classroom's screen.

There are currently six classrooms with lecture capture capability: Cowell 312, Harney 127, Education 201, Lone Mountain 244a, Malloy Hall LL4, and CIT 010.

Echo360 Lecture Capture Request

Personal Capture Software

A personal version of Echo360 capture, this software will turn any USF-owned laptop or desktop computer into an "instant educational studio." This personal version of Echo360 capture is optimized for the self-creation of learning modules, screencasts and tutorials. Additional hardware, such as a microphone or a webcam, may be required.

Classroom Technology

Hours of Operation

  • 7:40 AM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday
  • Sunday deliveries: By advance request via ITS Help Desk only.
  • Deliveries and pickups can only be made during our hours of operation.

Request Policy

  • To find out what AV equipment can be delivered to which rooms, please see Classroom Technology's Classroom Support Spreadsheet.
  • Classroom Technology does not deliver to the following locations: Gillson, Hayes Healy, Kendrick (Law), Koret, McLaren, Phelan, and Underhill.

Network Services

Hours of Operation

  • 8:40 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Saturday & Sunday requests are setup on Friday and picked up on Monday.

Conference Phone

Hardware used to enhance voice quality & clarity from up to 20 feet away. Provides for full room coverage up to a 54' x 40' room.

Bridge Line

Reserved USF phone extensions used for the purpose of conference calls up to a maximum of 8 parties. This enables users to speak to 8 unique parties at any given time.
